The Sarong Company started off in a small one bedroom apartment in Atlanta in the midst of a global pandemic. Absentmindedly a small business was born and has become what it is today.
What is a sarong?
Sarongs are typically known to be worn as loungewear in Southeast Asian countries such as Cambodia, Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia. They usually have a floral and/or geometric design pattern with vibrant colors appealing to the eye. Traditionally they are worn wrapped around the waist or have an elastic waistband for extra security. The Sarong Company aims to grant easy access to these staple cultural goods, especially for those who do not live in areas with an abundant Asian community.
